Action!

At the beginning of the year I make all sorts of plans and set all sorts of goals.  When the plans are made I’m enthusiastic about the months ahead.  However, I don’t always take action and it made me wonder why.

GoogleDo you remember a time when we didn’t have Google?  Hard to recall isn’t it?  It puts so many ideas, facts, information right at our fingertips.  It is amazing.  I use Google for many different things.

One use I’ve come across lately is when you want to kick start your creativity.  Google everything.  I mean everything.  Google your dreams, Google your problems.  Don’t ask a question before you Google it.  You’ll either find the answer or you’ll come up with a better question.

Stuck?

stuckWe all tend to get stuck in certain thinking patterns.  Our beliefs can become concrete truths in our minds – yet may not be based on facts or reality.  These ideas can limit so many things in our lives and take away “possibility”!  Our self talk centers around “I can’t possibly do that…” “I could never….” “That’s impossible….”  “It will never work….” Following are some tips about getting unstuck.

Relocate

RelocateMy mother had come to visit my husband and me during the holidays.  About two weeks after she returned to Fargo, ND she called and asked if she could move to be closer to us in Virginia.  This week she arrived, relocating 1,355 miles at 88 years young.  We are all thrilled!  She has a new perspective and a new outlook.  So excited about new friends to be made, experiences to be had and life to be lived.
